The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
