Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
